52/2018 Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman.

  1. Chairman. Richard Williams was elected Chairman of the Planning Committee. No other Councillors wished to stand.
    Proposed: Matthew Lowy Resolved: No objections.
  2. Election of Vice Chairman. Matthew Lowy was elected Vice Chairman of the Planning Committee. No other Councillors wished to stand.
    Proposed: Colin Arnold Resolved: No objections.

Single dwelling house with detached double garage. 208 Steventon Road Drayton Abingdon OX13 6RN. 2 members of the public expressed an interest in this planning application that was withdrawn prior to determination on 12th October 2018. It was noted that a new planning application will be submitted.

Drayton Parish Council has concerns regarding the impact of flooding on the area, and would not wish to see the chances of flooding increase. We also have concerns about development outside the main villages of both Drayton and Sutton Courtenay, if the development is allowed, then at the very least, the situation should be carefully monitored with a view to limiting further expansion.
