Gas Connection and Road Crossing: Abingdon Road, Drayton

Clancy Docwra, working on behalf of Miller Homes, are due to carry out a connection to the gas main in Abingdon Road, starting on the Monday 4th April 2016.

This will involve a trench across the road from outside the existing site entrance to the green opposite.

The trench will be completed in two sections under manually controlled traffic lights and a foot path closure and diversion. The traffic lights will be manually controlled each day from 9am to 3.30pm. Outside of these times normal traffic flows will be maintained.

The foot path opposite the site will be closed to pedestrians for the connection and a pedestrian diversion will be in place and clearly signed. The diversion will be minimal and divert people around the triangular green.

We expect to have the work completed within 5 working days. However, this will be dependent on no complications arising.

Clancy Docwra are committed to working with local residents and will keep you informed of any developments. As always, we will endeavour to assist the residents with any access requirements where possible, although this may be difficult at some times.

Should you have any specific questions or issues relating to the works, please call Andy Bird, Clancy Docwra Project Manager, on 07807 830159.
